Tuxedo Tank

I decided to dress up a plain white tank I had. And I love me some polka dots..and black and white.

Just made a ruffle and sewed it on the tank. Super simple and easy. The next one I do I think I will take the ruffle down the whole length of the shirt.

Gift for Mom!

Ok...so I am slowly getting the hang of sewing. I say that after attempting this mask like four times tonight! I finally got it right! And now that I have had so much practice it is a piece of cake!

So...I will put up a tutorial tomorrow for this mask! I also have a pair of slippers up my sleeve...

Knock Off of a Knock Off

While blog surfing/stalking one day I happened upon this blog. And I fell in love with this shirt. It is an Anthropologie knock off.

So I knocked off her knock off!

So cute eh?

I can't wait to make one for my daughter!

Throw Pillows

Last night hubs and I threw in "Love Happens" and I got to work hand sewing this pillow. It took the WHOLE movie!!! So, needless to say I am on my way to get a sewing machine today!! Hurray!!!

Love the crisp white!!

Supplies:
A bag of batting
fabric
needle and thread (or a sewing machine)
a wooden spoon to help stuff the pillow

Sew three of the edges together INSIDE OUT
Return to outside in and iron
Stuff
Sew closed.
Voila!

I put a ribbon on it to fancy it up.
